Build upon the QBHA I through service-learning and further analysis/understanding of diversity, culminating in the BHA II. Theoretical and experiential knowledge and practice of behavioral health care within diverse settings. Skills and competencies from the QBHA, plus:
Applied experience: Systems, Therapeutic Communication, Crisis Intervention, and De-escalation. Aligned employment opportunities include behavioral health assistant, specialist, technician, behavioral health lead, community corrections technician, crisis intervention specialist.
