DMS 3222 Abdominal Sonography II
Provides a systematic study of the adult abdomen, pediatric gastrointestinal tract and abdomen, and neonatal abdomen, brain, hip, and spine. This course also reviews transplanted organs, sterile techniques preceding invasive and intraoperative procedures, and the applications of contrast agents in ultrasound. Other imaging techniques will be discussed as well as the principles guiding the field of sonography.
